Benton County is located in Western Tennessee, in one of the state's three "grand divisions". It is bordered on the north by Henry &Stewart Counties, on the east by Houston &Humphreys Counties, on the southeast by Perry County, on the south by Decatur & Henderson Counties and on the west Carroll County.
