ESKEW COUNTY LINE CEMETERY

This cemetery, established in 1879, is actually located in Grayson County but so close to the line with Cooke County , that it was formerly included with the old Cooke survey of cemeteries.   Though abandoned, it is clean and fenced.  I feel that the stones remaining identify only a small number of the actual burials.   Drive north on FM 678 past Callisburg in Cooke County, turn east on CR 130 until you pass Navajo Rd.   The cemetery is located on the east side.   Surveyed on 9 January 2003 with Gene Tarvin and new pictures taken January 2010.
