BONAZZO          ANTHONY "PAPA PIZZA"   17 July 1909  20 Dec 2002   Age, 93, of North Huntingdon.  Born in Vazzano, Calabria, Italy, survived by his wife, Thelma.  Anthony came to this country from Italy in 1931, arriving in New York after eight days on the ship, with no money and unable to speak English. Tony had several different restaurants over the years. The Sunset Bar & Restaurant in Braddock Tony opened, sold and bought back three times. In 1963, Anthony traveled to North Huntingdon and bought property along Route 30. He moved into a home on the property and opened the LaDonna Restaurant. Tony had a restaurant in this location until he sold it at age 90.

She was a member of Bible Study Fellowship and attended adult Sunday school class at Lycoming Presbyterian Church, Williamsport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Gilarski, and a brother, Cy Simcik.  Funeral Mass in Good Shepherd Church.

Divine liturgy in Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Braddock, the Rev. David Bosnich officiating. Interment will follow in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.

REYNOLDS         EDMUND P. "PEANUTS"                  1 June 2003   On Sunday, June 1, 2003, of Swissvale, age 75. Edmund was the beloved son on Anna and William Reynolds. As a loving and devoted father and brother, he leaves a sister, Grace Diulus, as well as a wife, children and many grandchildren. Edmund was an amateur diver who competed and won in the Pan Am Games in 1948. Also, he became a featured diver in the Tarzan Movie "Tarzan and the Mermaids". He coached and managed football teams as well as played for the Swissvale Boosters Football Team in the 1940's. He worked at Metals Protection Company and spent most of his years gardening and landscaping. He will be missed but never forgotten. Arrangements by the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC. 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. A small service will be held by family members at Braddock Catholic Cemetery in Braddock Hills on Thursday morning at 11:30, where he will be laid to rest.

WAGEL            MADELAIN G.            10 July 1923  19 Dec 2002   Age 79, of White Oak, formerly of Rankin.  Born in Rankin, daughter of Battista and Rachel Cochia Martino. She was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; two brothers, Vincent and Angelo Martino; and a sister, Louise Rodriguez.

WASKO            ALBERT "CAB"           14 Sept 1918  23 Jan 2003   Of Forest Hills, age 84; Cab was born in Braddock and was a WWII Army Veteran, having been rated as an Expert Rifleman. Cab was a retired employee of US Steel, Edgar Thomson Works. His accomplishments include bowling a "300" game and had a hole-in-one in golf; husband of Tillie V. (Dennis) Wasko for 62 years.  Friends are invited to a Memorial Service with Military Honors in the Chapel of Braddock Catholic Cemetery on Sat., at 10am. Memorial donations may be made to the National WWII Memorial, 2300 Clarendon Blvd, Suite 501, Arlington, VA, 22201.

WOJTASESKI       THERESE "TERRI"        11 Oct 1958   2 Apr 2003    44, of Latrobe.  Born in McKeesport, a daughter of Margaret (Shimo) Wojtaseski of Latrobe and the late Edward Wojtaseski. She was a member of Westmoreland County Horseman's Association. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and James Wojtaseski.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church.
