STEVENSBURG METHODIST CEMETERY
STEVENSBURG, CULPEPER COUNTY, VA

The following 35 tombstone transcriptions (listed in alphabetical order) are from the cemetery that belonged to the Stevensburg Methodist Church. This church no longer exists. The land was bought by the First Century Baptist Church and they erected a new church where the old one used to stand. There is a stone inset in the front of the new church building which states the Stevensburg United Methodist Church was established in 1874. The First Century Baptist Church takes care of the cemetery. They have purchased land surrounding the church and will be expanding their church as well as the cemetery. The transcriptions were made on April 26, 1997.

The cemetery is located on Batna Road which is off of Route 3 in Stevensburg, VA.

Several stones were indecipherable because the inscription was completely worn off.
