BAPTISMS
from the Church of St. Blaise, St. Blazey

Transcribed by Julia Mosman, OPC,
for the St. Austell Genealogy & History website

General Note: when the recorder wrote "Ch Town" it was unclear if they meant Charlestown or Church Town; we've kept that name, and you can interpret what was meant. If the recorder wrote "Church Town" or "St. Blazey", we've shown "St. Blazey C.T.".

Entries are alphabetical by surname, then child's given name. In early entries, one letter, such as "W", could mean W, or V, or U, depending on the situation. Be sure to check all possible spellings!

1710 are the earliest records filmed that we could find.

St. Blazey Family History Project

A compilation of birth, marriage, and death records, approximately 1815-1837, created by Wesley Johnson. The data may be very valuable, as long as one remembers that Wesley has formed individuals into family groups using census data, etc. He does not guarantee the groupings are infallible, however.
