Mary is the oldest known daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth STandridge and wife of James Jones
Mary Standridge was born about 1798 and died November 18, 1876 in the Sulphur Bend Community of Indian Territory, Delaware District. She is buried at Sulphur Bend Cemetery, Oklahoma.
Mary STandridge @ RootswebThis is a small section of a document of Elizabeth Jones Hampton's re-enrollment papers for the Cherokee Nation. This part says: Examination James Jones died in Carroll County, Arkansas previous to the War. James Jones' wife was Mary Standridge (spelled Sandridge). She was a white woman. She had no family previous to her marriage that I know of. This document goes on for pages.
