Mary White was the daughter of James Jones and Mary STandridge. She married William White son of Charles White and Anna Flippo. William White died during the Civil War Era. The story was handed down that he was going to enlist and was bushwacked. He was not with the family after the War. William and Mary White had these children: John, Elizabeth, Illeann, Mary Jane, Sarah, James Ervin, William, Margaret, and Josiah.
