The Arnhart Cemetery was first used in the 1850s. It is located on Jacob Arnhart's old homestead. Joshua Renfroe with his wife Jane is living on this farm in 1860, in his household are his little brothers and sisters...all orphans! Elizabeth Hensley Renfroe Hughes and her second husband have died since the 1850 census. Jane Hensley, wife of Jacob Arnhart is Elizabeth's sister. I think Elizabeth and her husband, James are buried in graves 64 and 65. They could very well be the first persons buried here. William Hensley is probably buried in grave 67 or 68, nearby. Jacob and Jane Hensley Arnhart are in Graves 1 and 2.
