APPENDICES TO THE JOURNALS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (AJHR) - Annual government publications - includes letters, appointments,reports etc. From 1861
BRITISH PARLIAMENTARY PAPERS RELATING TO NEW ZEALAND -The British Parliamentary Papers represent a significant source of important and largely untapped information about New Zealand in the mid-nineteenth century. They comprise reports, statutes, correspondence and other documentation sent between the Colony and the Government in Britain, and cover all aspects of life and events in the colony at the time. They began in the late 1830s when no local collection or publication of such material was being made. By the 1850s, the New Zealand Government had started to publish similar documents in their Appendices to the Journals of the House of Representatives (AJHRs). However, many reports continued to be sent directly to Britain and were not published locally. The collection currently covers the years 1837 to 1882.

PAPERS PAST — Papers Past contains more than one million pages of digitised New Zealand newspapers and periodicals. The collection covers the years 1839 to 1948 and includes 132 publications from all regions of New Zealand.
PHOTO NEWS was a monthly magazine published by Logan Publishing of Gisborne between 1954 and 1975. At its height, Logan Publishing was printing Photo News editions for nine regions around New Zealand � a total of 60,000 copies a month, or nearly three-quarters of a million every year. The regions covered were: - Whangarei, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth (Taranaki), Waikato, Thames-Paeroa-Matamata, Franklin, Wanganui and Nelson. Over time, with the assistance of the communities in the various regions served by the Photo News, we hope to make more editions available.
