HELENA MARIAN BARNARD(BEM) - Helena Barnard was a major fund raiser for the New Zealand war effort during both wars. Six of her eight sons served in the 1NZEF.
ANTHONY FREDERICK WILDING - was born in New Zealand in 1883 and was a Wimbledon singles winner from 1910 to 1913. He was a Captain in the Royal Marines and died 9 May 1915 near Neuve-Chappelle.

GALLIPOLI ASSOCIATION - The Gallipoli Association is a non-profit making organisation furthering the memories of the Great War Campaign.
The Gallipoli Association's objectives are:
- To keep alive the memory and to commemorate the events of the Great War campaign on the Gallipoli peninsula in Turkey that took place from early 1915 to January 1916.
- To ensure that the men who served in the campaign are not forgotten.
- To encourage and facilitate the study of the campaign so that lasting benefit can be gained from its valuable lessons. (Linked)
