November 16, 1845: "Lewis, Natural Son of John Cumming, Shoemaker, Archiestown and Janet Black. Born 2nd November 1845. Baptized 16th of the said month. Witnesses Lewis Grant and William Grant, both residing in Archiestown."

 

January 5, 1846: James Black, Servant, Lower Knockans, was a witness to the baptism of Peter, Natural Son of William Margach, Garlinmore and May Robertson, baptized 5 January 1846.

 

March 18, 1846: James Black, Archiestown interred in Knockando.

 

June 17, 1846: "Alexander Black and Janet Milne Parishioners were married."

 

December 26, 1846: "John, Son of James Mensie, Servant, Inchbroom, Parish of Urquhart and Helen Black, Garlinmore, born 28th November, Baptized 26th December 1846. Witnesses William Margach, Garlinmore and James Black, Servant, Nether Knockans."

August 1847: "Helen Black, Lockach of Aberlour, died 25 August 1847, buried 27 August 1847" at Inveraven.

October 1, 1847: "James, Son of James Black, Blacksmith, Cardow and May Matheson his wife, born 22nd August and baptized 1st October 1847. Witnesses William Cumming, Wright, Cardow and Alexander Black, Farmer, Delhawly."

 

December 7, 1847: James Black's child, Ballintomb, interred in Knockando.

 

February 11, 1848: "Margaret, Daughter of Alexander Black, Farmer, Delhawly and Ann Walker his wife born 30th January and baptized 11th February 1848. Witnesses Lewis Beaton, Farmer, Nether Borlum and John Walker, Farmer's Son, Delvenvan."

 

April 24, 1848: Thomas Black, Archiestown, interred in Knockando.

 

October 26, 1848: Mrs. Black, Archiestown, interred in Knockando.

 

November 2, 1848: "Elizabeth, Daughter of James Black, Pensioner, Felochans and Elizabeth Martin, his wife, born 1 October and baptized 2nd November 1848. Witnesses William McLean, Farmer, Burnside and Charles Margach, Farmer, Alton."

December 22, 1848: "Donald McLennan residing in the Parish of St. Andrew's Lhanbride and Elspet Black residing in Oldwells in this Parish were married on the 22nd day of December 1848."

December 27, 1848: "John Inch in the Parish of Elgin and Jessie Black in this parish were married."

Anno 1849: "Jane, Natural Daughter of William Black, Railway Inspector residing in Edinburgh, and Jane Black residing at Penny-Cairn, was born on the 30th day of April and baptized on the 17th of July 1849. John Black at Pennycairn and Alexander Black at Delbealach in Knockando were witnesses of the Baptism."

January 15, 1849: Charles Black, Archiestown, was a witness to the baptism of James, Son of Robert McIntosh, Factor, Archiestown and Elizabeth Bailie, his wife.

 

May 10, 1849: James Black, Wright, Tomdow was a witness to the baptism of Elspet, Daughter of William Grant, Wright, Archiestown and Mary Gibb his wife.

1850 - 1855

 

March 14, 1850: James Black's wife, Hillside, age 77 years, interred at Knockando.

 

July 12, 1850: "Jane, daughter of Alexander Black, Farmer, Delballie and Ann Walker his wife born 30th May, baptized 12th July 1850. Witnesses William Walker, Farmer, Delvenvan and Hugh Beaton, Nether Borlum."

 

August 15, 1850: "May, daughter of Charles Stewart and Margaret Black (illegitimate) was born 8th April 1850 and baptized 15th August before the Kirk Session."

 

October 1, 1850: Elspet Black, Parneuk, age 49 years, interred at Knockando.

December 25, 1851: "William McPherson and Margaret Black at Blacksboat in this Parish were proclaimed for three Sundays and married on the 25th December 1851."

 

 

January 21, 1852: Janet Black, Stripeside, age 36 years, interred at Knockando.

 

January 22, 1852: Widow Black, Parkneuk, age 78 years, interred at Knockando.

1852: "Ann, Lawful Daughter of Donald McLennan at Parkhead and Elspet Black his wife was born on the 17th June and baptized on the 24th June 1852. Witnesses Peter Nicol, Church Officer and Margaret McIntosh, Coldwells."

October 10, 1852: "Robert, Son of Alexander Black and Ann Walker his wife, was born at Delballey 19th September and baptized 10th October 1852: Witnesses Robert Smith and Louis Cumming, Esq., Cardow."

 

March 20, 1854: Alexander Black and May Matheson were witnesses to the baptism of William, illegitimate son of John Stewart and Janet Clark.

 

April 15, 1855: "Alexander, illegitimate son of Charles Stewart, as alleged by the Mother, and Margaret Black was born 30th March 1853 and baptized 15th April 1855 in presence of the Kirk Session, the Mother being sponsor."
