Many thanks to Mrs. Evelyn Stiles Enis for sending this photocopy of her mother-in-law. Evelyn's husband Arthur Stiles was born 11 Dec. 1888 and died 6 July 1972. His mother was Jane Ellen (Baker) Stiles, the second wife of William Howell Stiles. Jane was born in the Knobs to William H. and Lou Vinnie (Smith) Baker. Of his mother, Arthur Stiles wrote, "Mother used to tell us children stories. Mother's tales would entertain us before bedtime on the long winter nights."
