Seated left to right is James Wesley "Bob" Hampton holding daughter, Vistie (Hampton) Pangle, and his wife America "Merky" Sevilla (Davis) Hampton holding daughter, Blanche (Hampton) Armstrong. Standing between them is their daughter Polly Magusta "Gussie" (Hampton) Ervin. Standing on the left and only partially photographed is their daughter Mary Jane (Hampton) Adams Pangle. Standing in the middle is oldest son Homer G. Hampton. Standing on the right behind her mother is their oldest child Ella Azilee (Hampton) Cline, my grandmother. Many thanks to Mary Lee Farmer of Maryville, TN for this photograph! Mary Lee is related to my husband through the Colemans, and her husband to me through the Davis and Allen families.
