REV. HAMPTON DIED MAY 21ST

Rev. J. H. Hampton* departed this life and has gone on to rest in the Heavenly home after long suffering, May 21, 1927. He left his companion, eight children and lots of friends to greave his loss.

Absent, but not long until we will meet him where parting will be no more. He had a host of friends who came to see him and kind and good to assist us in his sickness. We was glad of their help and was awful sad of his departed life, but we all can see him again. He was always good in his family and good to all his friends and made a good husband and father. He will be missed by the entire settlement for he was good and kind to all. He lived a good christian life. For about forty years he was a minister of the gospel and was faithful in his religious life and was loved by all the members of his churches. He was the pastor of several churches.
