John Winslow came to New England on the Fortune in 1621. Mary Chilton was a passenger on the Mayflower, 1620. Tradition holds that she was the first female passanger to reach shore.

Children of John and Mary Chilton (all b. in Plymouth):

  1. John Winslow, b. probably before 1630; d. between 3 and 12 Oct 1683 in Boston. He m. (1) Elizabeth --?-- before 1664. They had children Richard, Elizabeth, John, and Ann. He m. (2) Judith --?--.
  2. Susannah Winslow, b. probably before 1630.
  3. Mary Winslow, b. about 1631; d. after 28 Oct 1663 and before Nov 1665 in Plymouth. She m. Edward GRAY 16 Jan 1650/51 in Plymouth. They had children Desire, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah, John, and Anna.
  4. Edward Winslow, b. about 1635; d. 19 Nov 1682 in Boston. He m. (1) Sarah HILTON before 1661. He m. (2) Elizabeth HUTCHINSON 8 Feb 1668 in Boston.
  5. Sarah Winslow, b. about 1638.
  6. Samuel Winslow, b. about 1641.
  7. Joseph Winslow.
  8. Isaac Winslow, b. 1644.
  9. child Winslow, b. before 1650; probably died young.
  10. Benjamin Winslow, b. 12 Aug 1653; d. between 12 Mar 1673/74 and 31 Jul 1676. He was never married.
