Lucinda WASHBURN
b. 16 Sep 1804 in Middleborough, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (BRIGGS) WASHBURN
d. 28 Feb 1856 in Wyanet; bur. in Corrs Pioneer Cemetery

Stillman and Lucinda married and settled in Middleborough, raising two boys. Stillman was a farmer and a
blacksmith. In 1838, the family moved west to Muskingum Co., OH; and in 1851 continued on to Bureau Co., IL. They settled on a track of land a few miles north of Wyanet. This was one of the first settlements in the Wyanet area.

Children of Stillman and Lucinda Vaughan (b. in Middleborough):

  1. Joseph Stillman Vaughan, b. about 1827. Drowned in Muskingum Co., OH. Never married.
  2. Thomas Earl Vaughn, b. 20 Jul 1832.
