Lucinda WASHBURN
b. 16 Sep 1804 in Middleborough,
the daughter of Thomas
and Ruth (BRIGGS) WASHBURN
d. 28 Feb 1856 in Wyanet;
bur. in Corrs Pioneer Cemetery
Stillman and Lucinda married
and settled in Middleborough, raising two boys. Stillman was a farmer and
a
blacksmith. In 1838, the
family moved west to Muskingum Co., OH; and in 1851 continued on to Bureau
Co., IL. They settled on a track of land a few miles north of Wyanet. This
was one of the first settlements in the Wyanet area.
