Helen Skvarenina was born 20 Nov 1912 in Hungary (now Slovakia) and apparently came over with her mother about 1917.
She married a Spanish Navy member, Joe Morales. Joe jumped ship to marry Helen and was not allowed to return to Spain while Franco was alive. He apparently was also disowned from his family because of the marriage. They had one son and two daughters.
