Served at Rouen, France in the Hand Grenade Brigade. Killed in action June 1915. Awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal. W. Crump, Trooper-Lance Corporal Cavalry, Lord Stratcona Horse. Wounded in Action in France in April 1918. Ernest Joseph Dorner, on May 28, 1918 enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. Trained in Regina for several months, but when he was needed back on the farm at Handel for harvest, he was allowed to go home. By the time harvest was finished, November had arrived and the war was ended. He was honorably discharged on September 13, 1918. Ernest passed away May 31, 1987. Victor Ennis, Army, Royal Canadian Field Enginneers. Killed in action in France. E. W. (Ted) Genereux, private in the Canadian Army, Son of Inspector Genereux of the RNWMP. Wounded in action May 1918. Arthur Jacobs, a Private in the Canadian Army. Killed in action Vimy Ridge May 1918 George Kibble, Army -- 2nd Queens, Royal W. Surreys, 1914-1918. Cornelius Knapp, Royal Navy. Killed in action April 1918. Charles May, Army. Private in the 96th Highlanders, 4th Contingent. Killed in action April 1918. John McIntosh, enlisted in the 65th Battalion at Saskatoon, on August 3, 1915. On arrival in England he was transferred to the 72th Battalion in France. Badly wounded as well as being gassed and suffered from malaria. He was entitled to wear on Gold Casualty stripe and also three Blue Service Chevrons. Discharged in February 1919.
