ULRICH, JOHN - Swiss-German.  Came to this (Pascal) district with his brother, Martin from the State of Washingtion via Battleford in the spring of 1906, to homestead 34-37-19-W3.  In 1910, he married Josephine Leidl (deceased in 1913), later married Anna Eberhardt and has five sons, Lawrence (Spalding), Raymond (Alberta), Leroy (Wilkie), Donald (Cavell) and Victor (Battleford).  Two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Sittler (Leipzig) and Helen (Saskatoon) complete the family.  Mr. Ulrich farmed extensively till 1953, when he retired to live at Wilkie.  Mr. Ulrich served on the early councils of Reford Municipality and is chairman of this historic section of the 1955 Jubilee committee.
