John L. Fahl

John Leonard Fah come to this world at Mendlam, Saskatchewan on July 5, 1918.  His parents were Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Fahl, who had immigrated from Odessa, Russia.  John lead a fairly carefree life which included service in the Royal Canadian Air Force from February 1941 to September 1945, until he met up with Lila Violet Miller who was born in the Wilkie district in February 20, 1919.  He then settled down to serious side of life and from this marriage they now have four children.  They are Linda Catharina, born on May 5, 1951, Timmothy John born on February 5, 1954, Gregory Jiles on May 1, 1956 and Ruth Audrey on July 25, 1959.

John came to work at the Dominion Experimental Farm in June 1948.  In February of 1961, he accepted to position that he now holds as Foreman of he Experimental farm.
