JACK AND MARY (LEIDL) FIX

Jack was born in Esmond ND on October 12, 1907 and came to the Leipzig area in 1918.  He was the youngest of 14 children.  He worked on the farm all his life.  Mary Leidl was born in a sod house in 1908, on August 2.

We were married November 16, 1932, the day the Leipzig Church burned down and lived on the home farm where Mary was born.  She lived there all her life until we moved to Wilkie 25 years ago.  We have one son Gerald.  He is married to Margaret Duscher and they have four children; David is marieed to Sarah Johnson and they have one son Chad.  Jacqueline is working at the Nursing Home.  Kevin is working in Lloydminster.  Noreen is living in Wilkie and hauls the mail. 

Gerald and Margaret are working in North Battleford and looking have the Country Estate.

We celebrated out 55th anniversary on November 16, 1987. 

We keep ourselves busy looking after the garden as we able to do it.
