Heritage of Hope 1905-1983 Saturday, January 20, 2001 REGINA VOLK Regina, the third daughter of George Volk and Magdalena Senger, was born February 15, 1925. She recieved her elementary education at the Denzil Public School. At the age of 15 she entered the Congregation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame at Waterdown, Ontario, August, 1939. After her Profession of Vows on July 30, 1943, she was given her religious name which is Sister M. Beatrice and served the Congregation as a homemaker serving in many missions in Canada. Sister became a victim of Cancer of the bone and in 1978, after major surgery, spent her remaining months in the Motherhouse Infirmary, from November to March 15, 1979, when she was called home to her eternal reward.
