NICKLAUS HEISLER

Nicklaus Heisler, son of John Heisler and Elizabeth Gerein.  He was born in Michlaka, Russia on May 15, 1872.  Nicklaus married Theresa Gerein on April 27, 1898.  Theresa's parents names were John Gerein and Magdalena Becher.  Theresa was born in Russia on January 13, 1879.  To this union five children were born.

Jacob and Philip were born in Russia.  They emigrated to Gove Kansas, USA between they years 1908-1910.  It entered Canada in 1913 and took up a homestead in June 1915 north of Denzil on SE 4-39-26-W3rd.  They had one daughter, Magdalena who was born on December 7, 1915 at Denzil and passed away February 12, 1927.

Nicklaus lived in Denzil until his death on November 9, 1954.  Theresa passed away March 30, 1963.  There is only one surviving son Clemence who is now retired and living in Camrose, Alberta
