Heritage of Hope 1905-1983 Saturday, January 20, 2001 Mr. Anton Rienhardt was born at Lajord, Sask. on November 15, 1901. He lived and farmed in and around that area until he married Josephine Deck of Vibank, Sask. in January 1920. This couple lived in the St. Peter Colony area for a number of years. Two sons, Frank and Alex were born in Lajord, Sask. in 1922 and 1923. The family now moved to the Denzil regions, onto what was called the Richter Place in 1926, where a daughter Mary was born. When moving to Donegal, Raymond, Irene and Pauline were born. Then, the last daughter, Vera was born at Rutland, Sask. In 1936, the Reinhardts moved onto a farm east of Denzil, and while there only one year, Mrs. Josephine Reinhardt passed away at the young age of 37, on October 26, 1937. The family lived on this farm from 1937 to 1945, when they built a house north of Denzil on the Braumberger place and they farmed there until 1953. Then Mr. Reinhardt bought a store at Hearts Hill, Sask. at which time he re-married Matilda Meyer, (Seifert) on October 22, 1954. The store was sold and Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt moved into Edmonton, Alta. where they resided for some twenty-five years. Mrs. Reinhardt passed away in November 1982. Anton Reinhardt moved to Provost, Alta, retiring in the Hillcrest Lodge there as a Senior Citizen. Presently, he is enjoying his years of retirement and in November of 1983, he will be celebrating his 82nd birthday.
