A Harvest of Memories

Richard and I were married September 28, 1943. We lived at Wolfe, Saskatchewan for a short time, then moved to the Coldspring district at Wilkie Saskatchewan, where we lived until 1956. Five children were born to us:

Richard Jr. was born September 16, 1944. He married brenda Sametz on October 6, 1973. They have three sons, Louis, Brian and Jason. Martin was born December 21, 1945. He married Valarie Demare on June 17, 1978. They have one daughter Kristan. Randolph was born March 25, 1951. He married Wendy Brown on June 4, 1977. They have on son Garry. Rita was born May 8, 1952. She married Harry Draper on July 15, 1978. They have one son, Michael. Sydney was born June 19, 1954. He married Judy Pernicelli in July 1976. They have one daughter Michelle.

In 1956, we moved to Oak Lake Manitoba. Our second son lives on the home farm now as we have retired and live in Neepawa, Manitoba. It is a very nice town. There is everything here we need. So are quite content. We have quite a few hobbies which keep us busy.
