ENGEL, JOS. - German.  Came to the Reford district in 1911 from Alsace-Loraine.  Married Philomine Bleile in 1914 at Leipzig, Saskatchewan.  Purchased land and resided there for 23 years.  Mr. Engel is now retired at Wilkie.  Two sons are Ernest and Joseph, Jr. One daughter, Mrs. Mary Deutsch.
