The SBSGS holds 10 General Meetings per year. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, September through June.
No
meetings are held in July or August. On meeting nights you can find us at:
Albert Community Centre
3rd Floor Loft
610 Clarence
Avenue
Please use the elevator accessible through the south-end basement doors to reach the loft.
On meeting nights, our
Library is open from 5 to 7 pm.
Our meetings begin at 7:15 pm and usually consist of: a mini workshop, a coffee & goodies
break, and a program.
Occasionally we vary from this format for special events, including our Open House & Genealogy Fair
in spring, Dessert Social in June, and our Christmas Potluck Social in December.
The program for our next General Meeting can
be found on our Home page.
Here in the province of Saskatchewan we can have some "interesting" weather. If the weather outside is frightful and you are
wondering if the General Meeting will be cancelled, please check with us before venturing out.
If we have cancelled the meeting,
we will post a notice on the website's first page and will send out an email to members to inform them. Those members that
do not have email addresses will be contacted by phone. If you are ever unsure about whether a meeting will be held or not,
please contact us.
