Membership
Membership in our Branch requires concurrent membership in our parent organization, the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society (SGS). The
various SGS membership levels and their associated fees can be viewed on their website at www.saskgenealogy.com/membership.html.
Memberships
in the SBSGS and the SGS run on a calendar year basis, from January to December. If a Member joins after the beginning of the year,
there is no prorating of fees. Fees are due December 31st for the upcoming year. Up to 2 years of fees can be paid for at one time.
Please
fill out our “New Membership Application" form and mail it to the address below, with your membership fees, or bring it to one of
our General Meetings.
Fees for new or renewing members can be paid in cash or by cheque at the General Meetings, or, by cheque
mailed to the SBSGS at:

Please note that SBSGS membership fees must be paid directly
to the Branch. If they are sent to the SGS (Regina), the money will not be forwarded to us and we will not be able to issue you a
membership in the SBSGS.
However, to save you time and trouble, the Branch will accept SGS membership fees and will forward them
accordingly. One cheque written for both fees, made out to “SBSGS” and given to the SBSGS, is acceptable for this purpose.
Membership in the SBSGS includes a subscription to our Branch newsletter, “The Armchair Genealogist”, which is published 6 times per
year. Issues are distributed to members via e-mail, although a small number of paper copies are available. Please contact us if you
would prefer only a subscription to the "Armchair Genealogist" instead of a membership with the Branch.

Branch membership fees for the SBSGS are $20.00 per year.
