Otto Sigfred Olson genealogy and biography - a part of Saskatoon Gen Web Project

Otto Sigfred Olson

This post (see below) is rather old, from more than eleven years ago. If this person still needs information about this family, I can help, as Sigfred Olson's father is my great uncle. Sigfred is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon (he is listed as Otto Sigfred Olson, and his death date is 9-6-1971). His daughter Lucille apparently married Reginald Bowser McFarland, who were both active in the music department at the University of Saskatchewan. They are also buried in Woodlawn Cemetery. There is also a lot of information about Sig Olson in the book Echoes of our Past: Bradwell, Clavet and district, which is available (and searchable) online at www.ourroots.ca. The following poster may know all this by now. I tried emailing him at the aol address but it came back.

Thanks very much,
Sharon Olson
