 Henry Vair
Personable
with a warm heart and good character Henry was.
He grew
up knowing only goodness, not wrong just because-
Niece Florence says
that Henry and Betty were extraordinaire
A plus
is what they were; they had it all- a wonderful pair.
Like the
other Vair children, they eventually owned land
They
made a living off the land, the ideal Cardston plan.
Tending
animals and big gardens was a daily challenge
With sweat
on their brows, they successfully managed.
Survival
was tight, requiring a disciplined plan over folly
No time
or energy for unnecessary activities by golly!
The norm
was a pleasant dinner at Grannies every Sunday.
Grandparents
set the bar high- good behavior without delay.
Niece Florence knew
her Vair family was a wonderful clan.
They
would help others in need; sharing was their family stand.
They
meant survival to others; helping was a way of life
To
ignore the suffering of others would bring everyone strife.
