Elizabeth Thompson- 1770

Elizabeth Thompson- 1770- (She and Waller Rhodes both had Royal ties)

(1st Cousin 3x Removed from Dollie Howard nee Thompson)

Blair Manor/Castle and Rhodes Castle are family crowns

-The exquisite life with glamour and grandeur all around.

We are proud of our ancestral roots and achievement

The Rhodes enjoyed the generational goals of attainment.

Waller passed away. Elizabeth and son William were alone.

New love found as the Governor of Kentucky came along.

Gabriel Slaughter was her choice- a good man was he

He loved and was loved by William which was key.

William grew strong and served his state as a Law-Maker.

-Then Lieutenant-Colonel of Slaughter’s Regiment later.

William was also a member of the Senate 1841-1845.

His step-father knew William would work hard to derive.

William Rhodes served in the Military sent to the War of 1812

He worked, served and achieved- records on history shelves.

-A fine man by anyone’s measure. A family of military skill

He followed big footprints, made decisions of his own free will.
