Poem for
Ruby Howard

Ruby Howard

Ruby was a lady with a deep passion for photography- many pictures she took

Her passion for pictures preserved pioneering history; look at the history book.

We are ever thankful as the Howard roots and ancestry she did record for all.

It was as if she was driven to be an early historian- could it be God’s call?

Her charm and flare remain forever snapped up in her pictures for all to share

Dwellings, belongings and clothing are gold nuggets- Centurion’s will stare.

We are proud of Ruby for her wonderful contributions, which continue to unfold-

Her captured treasure on films is too beautiful and priceless to ever be sold.

Ruby had four older brothers who also needed her nurturing thoughtful care

In their twilight years they gathered at the old homestead for her to share.

We owe so much to her for preserving our family ties, leaving a legacy of love

She gave us valuable lessons on Howard spirituality- blessings from above.
