Poem for Fred Howard >

Poem for
Fred Howard

Fred Howard-

The toddler years were sad for Fred as his dear mom passed on

Grandparents loved him dearly- in their loving arms he did belong

The farm is a place to play and explore- a beautiful setting for sure

Gentle loving souls raised him knowing hardships he must endure

Youthful curiosity made Fred explore including continents away

He was brave and courageous as he battled in the great fray

His heart he left in North Bend, his heartland anchor all along

With good friends and family Fred really wanted to be strong

Life meant redefining goals as his circumstances changed

New options, new paths and a quest for happiness remained

Fred still yearns for his mother as his golden years draw nigh

An inquisitive mind remains- he explores ancestors with a sigh

We wish Fred well as his peace with God he must make

We pray for the journey of self-discovery he must take

Agape love is his for sure as friends and family stand near

Fred lived, laughed and loved in robust style- a man so dear.
