Poem for the
Children of Olive and Ezra Howard

To The Children of Olive and Ezra Howard

The Howard’s lovingly remember each of you today

You have struggled to live, laugh and love we all say

God’s love is unconditional- families understand clearly

You are a worthy family we would like to know dearly

We have lessons cast our way, life is not without test

Survival comes with a cost; forgive yourself and the rest

Ezra and Olive are resting in their peaceful home far away

They wish you happiness; remember your prayers they say

Many years earlier we all lived together on the farm

Forgive the harm and sadness we are both in God’s arms

Your soul is the most important part of all- it is for eternity

Remember the lessons we taught years ago about adversity.
