Poem for
Cheryl Luke nee Howard
and Her Children
Keenan and Emily Irene

Cheryl Luke nee Howard and Her Children Keenan and Emily Irene

Cheryl carries the Howard name with pride- ancestral lessons learned well.

In creative sewing Cheryl is masterful; she is much like Dollie you can tell.

Hand tailored clothes and quilts with an artist’s flare- both ladies did it all

Exquisite movements of their nimble fingers created beauty Cheryl recalls.

Collections of sorts are valued by Cheryl as the Howard charm she claims.

Pictures of art and memorabilia have value to the learned eye she explains.

The Howard family has so much to appreciate from Dollie’s many displays

Now Cheryl will continue the charm of collecting quite an array we pray.

Friends are heavenly treasures, nothing compares to those who truly care.

I love family and friends; they are forever and all I have I will give or share

Fine lessons I will teach Keenan and Emily as teacher’s lessons I create

My children will grow strong with the Howard values I now model- it’s fate!

Cheryl will provide silent leadership like the Howard’s from generations gone

In her lifetime she will bless others- it is doubtful that she will ever do wrong.

A woman of virtue no one would argue; Cheryl is our prize of loving example.

She is prepared with generations of values- other people she will never trample.
