Poem for
Alice Pensom nee Howard

Alice Pensom nee Howard

Born in a family versed in Christian thought, Alice knew her Bible well.

True to the teachings she’d grow up being a good Christian you could tell.

Her life was clean and without blemish as she married Mr. Bill Pensom

Alice was able to enjoy the good life of wedded matrimony and then some.

Alice was always cheerful and happy as she lived life with the greatest of ease

She was kind and thoughtful as she carried out many good deeds sure to please

In 1951 I can recall her gift of a fine China cup and saucer so delicate and dear

Alice was a loving wonderful lady; she knew only kind gentle ways it’s clear.

Much like her Howard family, Alice lived a quiet life rich in grace and charm

She lived her life free of demons and mean spirits that cause nothing but harm.

Alice was a blessing and welcomed by others for miles around they say

No one could find fault with this perfect lady; she never bought on dismay
