The descendents of Nellie and William Bill Brown; Eric and Helene Hohne (

I am Diana Hohne, granddaughter to Eric and Helene Hohne (German born).

My maternal grandparents are Nellie and William Bill Brown from L-Curve
north of Lloydminster Grandpa Bill Brown ran the ferry across the river
 for many years.

We have done our family tree for Gramma Nellie Irene Brown.

She is a descendant of the famous Massey and
Honeyell clans...as well as the Merriam family who have the Merriam Webster
 Dictionary. There are these websites...

 1. Merriam (My uncle Roy Boyce (Lloydminster) is
 on this list)

 2. Massey (list service)

 3. Honeywell (but you must pay a membership fees)

All these families were 1600's settlers in Salem,
Mass. from England They all left and went to Haldiman/Chatham, Ontario.
This is how the Massey/Honeywell/Merriam intermarriages started.

My Paternal side is less known to me. However, the Hohne & Nakoinz family came
to Canada from Germany at the same time. The Nakoinz (Germanized name but it of
Polish descent I think) family came from near Berlin, Belsen Bergen maybe. The
father, mother and children came.

Their daughter is Helene Gerturde Nakoinze born in Germany and she married
Grampa Hohne who was said to have been born in Berlin. He has a long name
with some names like Hans Erick Gustav Auguste Hohne.

They had one son when they moved to Canada, his name was Hans Hohne who
married Aunt Hedi.

Their son is Jim Hohne who ran the Bowling Alley in Lloydminster and won
he Canadian Bowling Title.

Grampa Erick Hohne & Helene Gertrude Hohne (nee Nakoinz) had 4 children.
1. Hans Joaquim Hohne born Germany
2. Anna-Marie Hohne born ?
3. Fritz Eric Hohne.

4. Betty Rosen (Elizabeth) who married Walter Rosen.
		They have 4 children:
