This type of elevator near Rosetown, Saskatchewan is seen only in more recent times. It is constructed by pouring the cement into a form, and as the concrete sets, the form is lifted and another layer of cement is poured into the form, creating a stiped effect to the elevator. In the far distance is a barn and silo. To the right of the elevator is an auger to pour grain into the storage bins. Near the center of the picture is a tree to compare the sizes with. A traditional elevator was constructed of wood and of a different construction.
