The University of the Pacific (UOP) has in their library the Holt-Atherton Collection. The Holt-Atherton Department is the Special Collections unit of the William Knox Holt Memorial Library at the University of the Pacific. Its primary Purpose is to collect, maintain and provide access to the California and Western Americana collections and the University Archives.

Tracy Area Genealogical Society now has their new web site up and running, they cover the area around Tracy, California.
The California Genealogical Society, founded in 1898, is the oldest genealogical society in the State of California. The purpose of the Society is to help people trace and compile their own family histories. The Society maintains a library, gathers and preserves vital records, and provides education through meetings, seminars and workshops.
