I have been researching my Sherring Family from Somerset and Dorset that migrated to Canada and Australia. I have discovered separate Sherring individuals that I have not as yet been able to link to any known Sherring family.
As I have accumulated data on these people, I have decided to insert it in my web page for other 'Sherring' researchers.

I have discovered a separate Sherring family that apparently originated in Milborne Port, Somerset and migrated to Victoria, Australia and then found their way to central New South Wales.
To date I have not found any link between this family and my own; however, as it is a distinct group that I have accumulated data on, I have decided to insert it in my web page for other 'Sherring' researchers.

A Richard V Sherring is referred to in a newspaper article, when his wife Clara E B GOUGH gave birth to a a daughter Clara E R SHERRING in 1878 at St Andrews, Jamaica.
Richard is also shown as a passenger from Jamaica to Southhampton
