Funeral services were held
Friday, February 20, 1998, at 1:00 p.m. at the Martin Mortuary
in Grand Junction, for Vivian M. Reay, 85. Mrs. Reay died Tuesday,
February 17, she had been a resident of Mesa Manor for two months.
Vivian Mellie Hubbard was
born in Big Cabin, OK on Dec 6, 1912. She was the daughter of
the late Frank and Elizabeth (Booth) Hubbard. As a child, she
lived in Johnson Mesa, NM until the family moved to Oak Creek,
CO in 1924/25.
Vivian is survived by 3
step children, Rose Marie Telk of Ogden, Utah, Elouise Strebel
of Park City, Utah and Robert A. Reay of Portland, Oregon; 11
grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous neices and
nephews.
Vivian was preceded in death
by her husband, Robert T. Reay in 1986, her daughter Violet in
1960, her parents and her 5 sisters and 2 brothers, Irma, Margaret,
Lois, Violet, Grace, Tom and Jim.
Entombment at Memorial Gardens,
Grand Junction, Colorado.
