I am looking for information as to the burial site of one of my great- great uncles. His
name was Christian Dundey. He died of scarlet fever during the Civil War in Yankton. He
was with the 6th Iowa Calvary and as far as I know he was buried in the Yankton area. I
would appreciate any information concerning how to locate any of the county cemeteries in
Yankton county.

I'm searching for more information on A.B. Dunlap. From old deeds I have, I deduce that
somewhere betweeen 1890 and 1893 he died and his widow, Catherine, sold out and went to
Brown County Kansas. I found an "Asher B. Dunlap" listed in the book, "Some
Historic Homes in Yankton County" and would be appreciate knowing what is writen
there on page 96. Can I purchase a copy? I don't know what A.B. did for a living, where he
came from, etc. He is my great-great-grandfather. Thanks for any help!

Looking for information on the John SMITH family. They lived in Mennominee, NE but the
children lived in Yankton at various times. Anna married Louis KASER; Margaret married
Russell DEUHR; Plonia married Henry PLEVKA; Gerard married a HUBER; Peter went to WI;
Gertie married a SCHMIDT and went to Canada; Marie married a WEBER; Lizzie a MORRMAN; and
John worked in Yankton. Looking for information on any of them especially information
about a store Gerard may have had around 1900 in Yankton. Related families in Yankton
include: KLEINSCHMIDT, RULAND, KAST, SCHAEFER, ARENDS, GOEDEN, and HOESING.
