MUSSELMAN, George F. I am searching for any and all information concerning my third great
grandfather, George F. MUSSELMAN or G.F. in some cases. I know that he lived in Hutchinson
County, SD in 1880 according to the Census and his wife at the time was Carrie, about 30
years younger than he. His first wife was Anna TOPPING they came from Albany, NY. Their
son, Theodore MUSSELMAN was in Hutchinson County at the same time and was 21 years old.
I've confirmed this relationship via Theodore's death record in Sioux City, IA. I have
also found a George F. Musselman listed in the MItchell, SD G.A.R. registry on this Web
Page. In addition, a G.F. MUSSELMAN is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Brule Co., SD. No
death record for him in Brule Co. It would have been about 1885-1890. I am looking for any
other clues to his existence in SD as well as his other family members besides Theodore.

Seeking info on John Morrison PEASE, who resided in Davison County from 1881 - 1907. My
great-grandfather was born in New York City on 9-21- 1859. Early on the family moved to
Detroit and then Chicago, where he grew up. Believe he worked for the Chicago, Milwaukee,
& St Paul Railway Company as it expanded westward in the 1870's. He settled in Mt
Vernon, SD in 1882 and died there in 1907. Any info on his parents or ancestors would be
appreciated. He wrote that his father was born in New York, and his mother in Ireland.
Believe he was adopted by a man named Pease; his original name may have been Dougherty
(Daugherty?). --------------------------------------------------

Looking for information on Joe H. LONG and Loren V. LONG, brothers who were residents of
Mitchell according to the 1915 South Dakota state census. Joe H. LONG was born in 1890 in
Hutchinson County and was almost surely a veteran of World War I, but I cannot find his
name on any draft records or honor rolls for that war. Loren V. LONG was born July of 1900
in Hutchinson County, and, according to two of his sister's children, suffered a seizure
behind the wheel and was killed in a truck crash "somewhere between Mitchell and
Huron" sometime before 1936, leaving a wife named Tina and a son named Archie. That
is all I have for now. Any light you can shed on these two would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for information on the death of Ora B. WELLS and his wife Sarah T. CAMPBELL WELLS.
Ora B. was born on Genesee co. NY ca 1817. Sarah T. was born in Ontario Canada ca 1825.
They married in New York ca 1840 and had 4 children: Roderick C., Sarah Ann b. June 29,

am interested in knowing when and where Ora B. and Sarah died and where they are burried.

who married Isaac R. Bagley)

My great grandparents, George Y STOVER and Elizabeth Thomas STOVER established the town of

cemetery in that area. Does anyone know the name of that cemetery? Does anyone know the
whereabouts of the grave of George Y STOVER. Eliz. died in 1894 and some say he went east
& was never heard from again, but others say he died in SD, also. Has any written a
history of this town which is no longer standing, but in it's day had a post office?
