Looking for any trace of the MCKASKI family which emigrated to the U.S. from Canada in the early 1920's. Supposedly there were relatives of this family that lived in the Aberdeen area who took in the family for a time. Mr. MCKASKI was married to Lillian MARQUETTE. They had several children, the youngest son being Virdell MCKASKI. Any help at all would be appreciated.

I found a biography on him last night from the Memorial and Biographical record.....of prominent settlers and citizens of South Dakota. He was mayor in 1893. Apparently his first wife, Clara SMITH, died before 1900 - because he was a widower in the 1900 census. He married a second time to Stella SMITH MOORE, an accomplished pianist, sometime after 1900 and before 1907.The bank he established was called: Loomis and Corry Bank, which later changed its name to the People's Bank.

Looking for information on the family of James William RHINEHART and wife Lillian MOWRY RHINEHART, who were living in Aberdeen in 1905. They had about 10 or 11 children, but I only have names for 8 - Victor, Lester, Harvey, Clifford, Mark, Alan, Ruth, and Leon. They may have moved back to Hutchinson County, SD before 1915, but I'm not sure. I do know that Lillian died in Oct. 1920, not sure what happened to James, but some of the children wound up in Michigan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
