Mathis - Lowder - Holladay Family Reunion

Brogdon Family Reunion

The Brogden Family Reunion is held each year on the first Sunday in May at Graham Baptist Church on Highway 521 South in Sumter County, South Carolina. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish.

Stuckey Family Reunion

The Edmund Stuckey Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Hartsville, SC.  Bring a covered dish to share and plan to arrive between 11:00 and 12:00 A. M.

Dingle Family Reunion

The Dingle Family Reunion is held during the first weekend in August. Each year the reunion is held in a different location. Ridgeway Family Reunion

The descendants of Peter Edward Ridgeway hold the Ridgeway Family Reunion each year during the spring. The reunion is always held somewhere in Clarendon County, South Carolina. Everyone brings a covered dish and drinks to share with their extended family. Plates, cups, napkins, and eating utensils are provided. You are invited to the Ridgeway reunion if you are a Ridgeway, are kin to a Ridgeway, love a Ridgeway, like a Ridgeway, or just know a Ridgeway. Just come and share in our family fun. Come and bring your family stories, pictures, old records to share in an effort to make our family history more complete.

For years the Gibson/Gipson family has been know to reside in Summerton,  South Carolina.  Over the years our family has spread out to various states which include Florida, Georgia, New York and, New Jersey.  This is why each year, during the second weekend of August we travel to the various states in which our familiy members reside to celebrate our kinship.   We are proud to announce that the 27th reunion was  held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, hosted by the New Jersey chapter. Thames/Timms/Timms Organization

Dear Thames, Tims, Timms Researcher,
A combination reunion and organizational meeting is being planned for April 4 & 5 2003 in Gastonia, NC.
The purpose of the meeting on 4 April is to form an organization of descendants and researchers of the surnames Tims, Timms, Thames, Timbs, Thanes and any other variant spelling of these names.  The purpose of the organization is to share family information, produce a newsletter, provide query service and establish a pernament depository of research on these families so that future generations will have the benefit of research which has already been done.

The purpose of the meeting on 5 April is to vote on options developed at the April 4 meeting and to visit and get to know our cousins even though some of us spell our ancestral name slightly different.

The location in Gastonia is a meeting hall in a Church equiped with a kitchen and there is a copy machine available.  Several well known motels and restaurants and a shopping center are located within 5 miles of the church.  Gastonia is located on Interstate 85 near Charlotte, N.C. where there is a major airport.

The organizing committee is in the process of negotiating special motel rates for these meetings and we need everyone who is interested in attending one or both meetings to send to the address below the following information: Please pass the word to any others who may be interested.

A reunion for the descendants of Thomas and Mary Bagnel Tobias will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2004, at the Union United Methodist Church, Wilson, SC. It is located 6 miles east of Manning on Highway 521.

Please bring a covered dish and a drink (plates, cups, etc., will be provided). It will start at 12:00 with dinner at 1:00.

If you think you are kin -- please come and bring any old records, pictures, to share for our family history.

There will be a visit to the Junky Yard Cemetery after the meal.
