Especially Arters, Ladds, Cannons, Dukes, etc. These are at the far extreme of the cemetery. Death certificates for 1915-1920 show quite a few black burials at Bethlehem. "Secona (Who?): I told you about black burials there, many with markers as late as 1940s, plus also an apparent slave grave nearer the street (Carrel Cowan - Rick concurs). I've just run across a deed by which the Secona deacons conveyed the black part of the cemetery to trustees (black) in 1908."
