  The headquarters of the Tri-County Pendleton District Historical, Recreational and Tourism Commission has historical exhibits and frequently changed displays.  Information at the office is available on many historic and tourism sites in the region.  Also in the building is a local history and genealogy library.  Located at the corner of North Mechanic and East Queen Streets in the heart of the National Register downtown of Pendleton.

  Pre-1925 farm equipment and tools, along with Cherokee Indian and local history artifacts, are in this 6,000 square foot building, resembling a race horse barn which earlier was on this property.  Located on US Hwy 76, across from Tri-County Technical College.

  Portraits by acclaimed sports artist Wayland Moore (a Belton native) and memorabilia of the Hall of Fame inductees are features, along with artifacts and trophies related to tennis history in the state.  Located in the depot building on Main Street in downtown Belton.   A house museum, built ca. 1830 by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, contains period furnishings and historic items. The Adger and Smythe families were also early owners.  Located on US Hwy 76 adjacent to the Pendleton District Agricultural Museum.

  Home of statesman John C. Calhoun and later of his son-in-law Thomas Green Clemson, this National Historic Landmark is furnished with family pieces.  It is in the heart of the Clemson University Campus, and is was this plantation that was deeded to the state by Mr. Clemson to start the school.

  This house, ca. 1828, was built at Old Pickens Courthouse and moved to the present town in 1868.  It features 17th and 18th century art and furnishings.  Located at North Lewis Street and Queen Court in the heart of Pickens.

  This colonial home of French Huguenot Paul de St. Julien was built in 1716 in Berkeley County, South Carolina, and was moved to the Clemson University Campus in 1941.  It is located in the South Carolina Botanical Garden on Perimeter Road.

  Art and local history exhibits are in this 1903 gaol (jail) which resembles a castle.  Rotating exhibits are featured, and a museum shop has work by regional artists and craftsmen.
