1. Daniel¹ Parkinson was born 09 March 1852 in Queens Co, Ireland, and died 01 January 1901 in Bear Creek Twp, Sauk Co, WI. He married Catharine Cavanaugh Abt. 1880 in Oldham, England, daughter of James Cavanaugh and Nora Short. She was born 29 November 1860 in Queens County (County Laois), Ireland, and died 28 July 1911 in Bear Creek Twp, Sauk Co, WI.

Daniel Parkinson: Emigrated to US in 1874. Occupation: Farmer
Catherine Cavanaugh emigrated in 1880.

SUDDEN DEATH

Mrs. Catherine Parkinson died Friday afternoon, July 28th, 1911, at the home of her sister Mrs. Peter Dunn, in the town of Bear Creek.

Mrs. Parkinson came down to Big Hollow last Thursday to see her new grandchild, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bridgeman. On the following day she started home and was taken sick on the road. She went to her sister's home, where death occurred from hemorrhage of the stomach.

Mrs. Parkinson was 51 years of age, a widow and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Scholl. Six children are living.

The funeral was held Monday at St. Patrick's church, Loreto, Rev. M. F. Weisha officiating.

3. Ellen M.² Parkinson (Daniel¹) was born August 1884 in Bear Creek, Sauk Co, WI, and died 1975 in Sauk Co, WI. She married Henry Scholl 28 October 1903 in Spring Green, Sauk Co, WI, son of William Scholl and Elizabeth Lindenburg. He was born 22 August 1872 in Michigan, and died 29 August 1942 in Reedsburg, Sauk, WI.

Scholl - Parkinson

Married at St. John's Catholic Church in Spring Green on Wednesday morning, Oct. 28, 1908, by pastor Rev. J. L. Schumacher, Mr. Henry Scholl and Miss Nellie Parkinson, both of Bear Creek.

Shortly after the ceremony, the young people drove to the home of Mr. Scholl in Big Hollow, where a large number of friernds gathered and passed the day and evening merrily, a sumptuous dinner being served.

4. Nora Agnes² Parkinson (Daniel¹) was born 18 January 1886 in Town of Bear Creek, Sauk Co, WI, and died 20 February 1955 in Town of Tainter, Dunn Co, WI. She married Michael M. Bridgeman 18 January 1910 in St. Patrick's Church, Loretto, Sauk Co, WI, son of Patrick Bridgeman and Mary Miliken. He was born 23 April 1879 in Town of Spring Green, Sauk Co, WI, and died 09 August 1950 in Town of Tainter, Dunn Co, WI.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Michael Bridgeman
Nora Bridgeman, 69, 1107 7th St., died Sunday a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Schwartz, Route 2, city.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9:30 at the Stanton Funeral Home and 10 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church, Father Alvin Daul officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Nora Parkinson was born the daughter of Daniel Parkinson and Catharine Cavanaugh, Jan. 18, 1886, in Sauk county, Wisconsin. On January 18, 1910, she was united in marriage with Michael Bridgeman, at St. Patrick's church, Loretto. They lived on the Bridgeman homestead farm in Sauk county for two years before moving to a farm in the town of Tainter, Dunn county, which they operated until 1944, when they moved to Menomonie.

Mrs. Bridgeman is survived by one son, Maurice J. , Menomonee Falls; two daughters, Mary Catharine, Mrs. C. W. Schwartz, Menomonie, and Alice, Mrs. David Sebora, Chilton; two brothers, Daniel Parkinson, Richland Center; and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Scholl Maurer, Reedsburg, and 10 grandchildren. She was proceded in death by her husband, three children who died in infancy, and two brothers, James and Martin Parkinson.

Mrs. Bridgeman was very active in church and civic affairs until a few years ago when ill health forced her to retire from community activities.

BRIDGEMAN-PARKINSON
Michael Bridgeman and Miss Nora Parkinson were married Tuesday, January 18, 1910, at St. Patrick's church;, Loreto, Rev. Fr. Rupprechter officiating. The wedding was a quiet one, only the immediate relatives being present. After the ceremony at the church the party went to the home of the bride's mother where a bountiful wedding dinner was served.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Catharine Parkinson of Bear Creek, in which town she has always lived and where she has made hosts of friends by her kind and loving disposition.

The groom is well-known and might be counted a Spring Green boy, having always lived on his father's farm a few miles north of this village. He graduated from the Spring Green high school and since has managed the large Bridgeman farm. He is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Bridgeman, pioneer residents of this locality, and is a young man with no bad habits to handicap him, possessing all the necessary qualifications for a useful life. He is a hard-working, modern farmer-businessman, and has the integrity and preservance which win. Mike's friends are numbered by his acquaintances and they all wish him and his wife the happiness of a long life together.

Mr. and Mrs. Bridgeman departed on the east-bound passenger train Tuesday afternoon for a short wedding trip.
