Note 1: wife Agnes, executrix, and "loving friends" Robert Reid & David Hamilton were executors. Robt & Edward Martin, & Robt Phillips did inventory.

Note 2: stipulated that children be educated which suggest Robert was educated

Note 3: Thomas was not of age.

The following heirs were named: mother, Jane; and sisters, Mary Phillips Campbell, Jane Phillips & Elizabeth Phillips (married name not given); nephews James, John, William, & Thomas Phillips, John Sloan, Jr.; and neices Jane & Betty.

Note 1: Robt, his brother had died & there was no mention of Agnes.

Note 2: Robt Martin, Sr., Robert Phillips, Sr., & Hugh Campbell witnessed the appraisal and made their marks.

Note 3: Estates of Thomas & William Phillips were mentioned in the appraisal?

Note 4: William's land adjoined Thomas Gladney's land

J. N. Harvey, John Kelso, & Sarah Walker witnessed the signature on 25 March 1824.
On 12 Jul 1828 Thomas A. Rabb, John Sloan, Sr., John Sloan, Jr. & Richard Bell signed the certification for the inventory of James Neely's Estate
Richard Nason,James W. Nelson, & James Bones were the executors.

The heirs were:
1. brother, John Neely's children: David, James, & William Neely and Elizabeth Neely Houston
2. Margaret Neely McGowan's children:Samuel McGowan, Agnes McGown Redman all who were in Ireland and Peggy McGowan Brown in GA.
3. Nancy Neely Phillips:

  Robt, Sarah, Alexander, Nancy, Polly, Jane (brother William was guardian)
B. William Phillips living in Gibson Co., IN in 1828, received a share.

D. James Neely Phillips living in Laud. Co., AL recived a share, marr to Mary ?
E. Elizabeth Phillips Campbell md Hugh Campbell, rec'd share in Giles Co., TN
4. Elizabeth Neely Harvey's marr John Harvey children:

 Note 2: No wife was mentioned & James left all to sisters and their children

 Note 3: Loans made to James Phillips, M. Brown, John Sloan, Sr. & Jr., Smith Phillips, and James Campbell.

- William C. Allen; b. bef 1800 in SC was in Laud. Co., AL by 1818;

- John Reeves Hough, b in Chesterfield Co., SC 1799 probably came to AL in 1820's d. 1849 Laud. Co., AL;

-Joseph D. Scott b.ca 1821 d. Jackson Co., GA Nov 1862, his son Robert Augusta Scott came to Laud Co., AL bef 1870;

- Andrew McPeters, b in Ireland ca 1773, was named in Wm Ewing will in Fairfield Co., SC ca 1799; d. Laud Co., AL ca 1852;

- Mathew Long, b ca 1725 d. ca 1775 in 96th District Wm Herod Hendley d SC
