The Chitty Cemetery is located in Eastern Barnwell County. Take U.S. 78 east from Blackville for about 1 mile. Then take County road #84 South east for about 4 miles. On your left, across a small planted field, there will be a sign designating the Cemetery. This is a small family burial ground. There is evidence of unmarked gravesites. This survey conducted by Lem Lancaster on Dec. 21, 1996.
